WELCOME to the Town of Plainfield, Vermont’s web site.

The major goal of the Town’s web site is to provide factual information about the Town of Plainfield that will increase our citizens’ (and visitors’) knowledge and participation in Town government and local activities.

We invite you to explore the web site but want to make you aware that the web site is still a work-in-progress.

• Our various committees and commissions are just learning how to post information in their sections - so their information, such as announcements and minutes, will be added during September and October.
• Look for the listing of Events and News to see what will be happening in town.
• Only “approved” minutes will be posted on the web site. Draft (unapproved) minutes of boards, commissions and committees will still be available at the Town Clerk’s office within the 5 day requirement.

The Town would also like to thank the Plainfield Area Community Association for providing the funds for the development of the web site.
